Hi
like most people I started photography with a simple point and shoot camera
which I bought while working on coastal shipping vessels, the camera was a Kodak 35ef compact film camera, now while this camera produced acceptable results it was very basic. The majority of images were simple snapshots but one in particular stood out from the rest this was an image of the sunset over the English Channel, while this was compositionally incorrect this image is responsible for the start of my photography journey.
to enjoy photography you don't need to be an "expert" or have the latest "all singing all dancing kit" just the "get up and go" a good imagination and a little knowledge is enough to start with, which will soon develop into a lot of knowledge be it camera skills or image editing know how
